On the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th November, LFC in collaboration with both the supporters clubs on the islands organised an International Football Academy.

The training sessions on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd were held in Malta at the Qormi Fc training grounds. A good number of Gozitan kids attended the afternoon session from 13.30 to 15.30. The last session was held in Gozo at the Gozo Stadium in Xewkija. About 33 Gozitan children attended the last session in Gozo, joined by a very good number of Maltese kids. All children were given a certificate of participation and a complete Adidas kit and football to take with them as part of their fee paid for their training sessions.

Finally the three most promising players were announced after the Gozo session. The most promising player from Gozo was won by Keeva Camilleri, who will be going to Liverpool in the near future to attend a 3 day training camp there.
