Sannat Lions Champions for the Ninth time

     Sannat Lions Champions for the Ninth time. In our last match of the campaign our Lions managed to obtain the important point that we needed to be crowned Champions.  Our Lions defeated SK Victoria Wandereres and therefore  we are now the CHAMPIONS 2008/09.  It was a difficult match but Sabri's brace helped to ease the nerves of the numerous supporters that came to the Gozo Stadium to support their heros.  Sabri scored a goal in each half and when the match was approaching the final minutes all supporters were already celebrating this ninth league for the Lions.  After the match Captain Mark Muscat and Vice Captain Mark Formosa were presented with trophies by the GFA President Mr Alvin Grech and GFA Secretary Mr Joe Bajada in the presence of GFA Treasurer Mr George Cini.  All Sannat players were aslo presented with the commemorative medal.  Afterwards a big celebration was organized infront of our club.  A very big thank you to the players, coach, committe, supporters and sponsors who all together made this dream possibble.  A special big thank you goes to our new LION Sandro Chiliberti!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Come on Greens.............
