Attard Athletics Club was founded since 2001.  Our aim is to involve more the Attard population to participate in sports. In our club Everybody is Welcome. Sponsors for our club are the Teamsport, C. Cini MFG Ltd, Nature Line and the Attard Local Council.  The club organizes two 10k races every year under the M.A.A.A. rules and regulations.

    The committee consists of 5 members.  The President is Mr. George Farrugia, the Secretary Mr. Steve Xuereb, Cashier Mr. Philip Farrugia, PRO Mr. Philip Cassar and as a member Mr. Louis Galea.  The committee organize training sessions twice weekly mainly Wednesday and Sunday.  During these sessions the athletes make speed training and long distance.  The training is done either at Marsa track or at Ta` Qali.
